By weaving together powerful film scores, this arrangement showcases some phenomenal music from inspired composers. The six minute medley was performed and arranged in a 7-hour period on a rainy Saturday. Since cinematic music is written with images in mind, footage from the films was included to give a visual reference for the scores. The video is dedicated to all Jason’s piano teachers (listed at the end).

About
Jason lives to create and manipulate images, telling visual stories that excite viewers. By weaving together his knowledge of design, art, music, and creative writing, Jason’s goal is to provoke an emotional response with any project that falls under his fingertips.
After working for Emmy-winning director Michael Spiller for six years on The Mindy Project, Jason shifted his focus to editing. He became the contractual video editor for IngleDodd Media and Honeysweet Productions, helping produce award show and web-based content for various Hollywood guilds and studios. He was honored to work on high-profile panels at Comic Con (2017-2022), including editing work for the sold-out Black Panther panel in 2018. In 2020, Jason helped develop virtual FYC panels for clients like Apple TV+, NBCUniversal, and Focus Features. He directed these live events and also provided all post-production and motion graphic work.
Regarding award shows, Jason edited numerous videos for the Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards (2018-2022), including the opening montages and a career reel for Sir Patrick Stewart which he called “the best video of my career.” In 2021, Jason was the Art Director and Editor for the virtual Cinema Audio Society awards, supplying all the visual content for the two-hour show. And in 2022, he became the editor for the Costume Designer Guild Awards, one of the most prestigious and star-studded award shows in Hollywood.
In addition, Jason’s editing business produces content for various Hollywood artisans. He designed the sizzle reel for Academy Award-winner Ruth Carter. He also produced various FYC campaigns for Ellen Mirojnick and her work on Cinderella, Bridgerton, and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, which went on to win a 2020 Costume Designers Guild Award.
As an award-winning filmmaker, Jason Eberly has directed and produced a feature film and over a dozen narrative short films. Six of these films have appeared in over thirty international festivals, winning various awards and receiving good press.
Directing/producing highlights:
- In 2009 Jason’s undergraduate feature film, “Nero Bloom: Private Eye,” was screened at an independent theater for two months and won Best Student Feature at the Cinema City Film Festival.
- In 2012, Jason directed a high budget short film titled “Niña Del Tango.” Following premiers in Los Angeles and New York City, the film found success in the festival circuit, which included screenings at two Oscar-qualifying festivals and The Consulate General of Argentina in New York. He subsequently received $20,000 in private funding for feature development based on the short film.
- In 2016, Jason co-wrote and produced an ambitious narrative project based in Israel (lived in Jerusalem for a month during production) and produced and directed a commercial featuring Rainn Wilson (The Office).

Independent Contractor – Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist
- IngleDodd Media: Edited videos and supplied original motion graphics for various Hollywood guilds and studios. The work included award show packages, online documentaries, FYC panels, sponsorship reels, and numerous sizzle reels for Comic Con (2016 – 2022) including the big opening video for the sold-out Black Panther panel.
- Honeysweet Productions: Edited videos for the star-studded Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards (2018 – 2022) that included the extensive opening videos (featuring all nominated projects), lifetime achievement reels, and a Distinguished Artisan Award reel for Sir Patrick Stewart which he called “the best video of my career.”
- Various Clients: Art Directed and Edited the 2021 virtual Cinema Audio Society Awards and 2021 Concept Art Awards. Edited four sizzles for the 2022 Costume Designer Guild Awards. Edited work for various Hollywood artisans, including a career sizzle reel for Academy Award-winner Ruth Carter, a FYC campaign for Ellen Mirojnick and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, and numerous other high-profile clients. Edited and produced an online commercial featuring Rainn Wilson (The Office).

Executive Assistant to Michael Spiller (Executive Producer/Director)
- Coordinator for visiting directors: compiled director start packets, organized meetings, connected directors with department heads, assisted in research for show continuity, and facilitated the payroll documents and contracts.
- Assisted Mr. Spiller with various production duties including director scheduling and booking, crew gift and party planning, calendar organization, and DGA paperwork for script delivery acknowledgements.
- Organized and directed three shoots in New York City to provide VFX plates and B-roll for the show.
- Created a video featuring Mindy Kaling (creator/star) and Salvador Perez (costume designer) that aired in the FXX telecast for the 2015 Creative Arts Emmys and was also featured on the Television Academy website.
ICM Partners May 2010 – June 2012
Assistant to Sean Freidin (TV Lit Agent; Directors)
- Managed all aspects of a high-volume agent desk: scheduled trips and meetings, handled heavy phone traffic, worked closely with the DGA, tracked payments and contracts, and managed financial/tax issues for clients.
- Assisted some of the top directors in the TV industry including Adam Bernstein, Michelle MacLaren, Carl Franklin, Michael Spiller, Gail Mancuso, Michael Waxman, and John Pasquin.
- Developed internal bookings for deals and proofed numerous contracts for high-profile directors and writers.

- Innovative Edit: Under supervision, edited commercial videos for national companies including OnCars.com and Royal Caribbean. Also directed and co-produced a video campaign for the proposed internship website.
